ゴルフと視力の関係について

今回は少し雑学的なことなのかもわかりませんが、『ゴルフと視力の関係について』少し、書いてみようと思います。

私も仕事柄か徐々に近視が進み今では裸眼では生活が難しいほどになってしまいました(>_<)

眼鏡やコンタクトで日常生活は問題の無いのですが、ゴルフの世界ではどうでしょうか？


皆さんもご存知の世界的にも有名なタイガーウッズというゴルフプレイヤーがいますが、タイガーウッズは1999年に視力を回復させるためにレーシックと呼ばれるレーザーによる治療を受けて2000年にゴルフで素晴らしい結果を出しました。

それまでのタイガーウッズは、コンタクトレンズをつけてゴルフのプレイをしたい単だそうですが、目にゴミが入ったり山間部でのゴルフのプレイの時には花粉症になったりといった悩みが多かったそうです。

タイガーウッズは視力を回復してからゴルフの成績が良くなったといわれていますが、ホールやグリーン、フェアウエーやゴルフボ＾ルなど、すべて大きく見えるようになったために、ゴルフのプレーでもそのことが関連したといっていたんだそうです。

特にタイガーウッズの場合にはゴルフのロングパットを行う場合に視力が良くなってからは大きく影響が出たといわれています。

ゴルフプレイヤーのビージェイ・シンという人も昔はメガネをかけてゴルフをやっていたのですがタイガーウッズと同じようにレーザーの治療を受けてからはゴルフのロングパットの距離感をつかむことに影響が出たといっていたそうです。

めがねやコンタクトをしてゴルフをしている人は、裸眼でゴルフができるようになるとプレイになんらかの影響が出ているようです。

まぁ私のような年間数回のおじさんゴルファーには、あまり関係の無い話・・・というより、まずは技術ですからね(^^ゞ
