今回は『ゴルフのホールインワンについて』ということで、ゴルファーなら一度は憧れるホールインワンについて書いてみようと思います。

私も昨年も一度、ホールインワンコンペにも参加しましたし、今年も会社の先輩で出席している人もおられました、私たちのようにそんなラウンド数も無いのに結構、ホールインワンコンペの話は聞きます。

しかし、うちの父親のようにもう４０年も続けてスコアもそれなりなのに、一回も出した事がない人もいるでしょう(^^ゞ

さて、実際にどれぐらいの確率なのでしょうか？

ゴルフのホールインワンというのは1打目でホールにゴルフボールを入れるということですが、ゴルフのホールインワンは偶然に等しいかもしれませんね(^^ゞ

ゴルフのホールインワンがどれくらいの確率ででるのかというと、上級者でアマチュアの場合には8000分の１の確率から14000分の１の確率でホールインワンが出るといわれています。

簡単に言えばゴルフのラウンドで2000から3000ラウンドまわってその中で1回のホールインワンが出るくらいの確率です。

これは上級者のホールインワンの確率ですから初心者の場合にはもっと確率は低くなると考えられています。

今までにゴルフのホールインワンを多く出した人の記録ではアメリカのノーマンマンレーという人が59回もホールインワンを出しているといわれています。

このホールインワンの確率は毎年ゴルフのホールインワンを1回は出していて1979年にはなんと1年間に4回もホールインワンを出していたのだそうです。

しかし、このノーマン・マンレーではないのですが1年間にホールインワンを11回も出していた人もいるようです。
