今回は、「シャフトについて」という事でゴルフクラブのシャフトについて初心者向けに少し書いてみようと思います。

ゴルフクラブのシャフトはスチールシャフトとグラファイトシャフト（カーボンシャフト）の二つに大きく分けることが出来ますね(^^ゞ

ゴルフクラブの中でも少しでもゴルフボールを遠くに飛ばそうという点に重点がおかれているドライバーの場合には、グラファイトシャフトがよく利用されていますね。

しかし、どちらかというと、ゴルフボールを飛ばすというよりも、正しく打つことが大切なゴルフクラブであるアイアンの場合はスチールシャフトが使われることが多いようです。

もちろん、アイアンでカーボンシャフトが悪いという訳ではありませんよ(^^ゞ

ゴルフクラブのそれぞれの特徴は、ゴルフクラブのシャフトの硬さやゴルフシャフトの長さや重さなども大切ですし、キックポイントやトルクによっても左右されます。

そしてシャフトとヘッドの相性も関係してくるようです。

ゴルフのクラブヘッドの重さや重臣の距離と重心角はゴルフのシャフトとヘッドのかかわりが大きいといわれていますし、ヘッドスピードとスイングのタイプによってどんなシャフトがあっているのかが決まるといわれています。

一般的にヘッドスピードが早くて力が強い人は、硬い思いトルクの低めのものがいいのですが、ヘッドスピードは早いのに、スインガーといわれているゴルフプレイヤーの場合には硬さは硬すぎず、トルクも中くらいのシャフトがいいと言われています。

いずれにしても、ご自分のスイングに合うクラブ選びがポイントになりますね(^^♪

行き着けのお店などがあれば、そこでスイングチェックをしてもらって自分に合うクラブを選びたいものです。
